Story A story is told, And it is told again. We revise and explain. We subtract and we add on. We argue and agree. But it is a story. Between the lines is truth. Between the lines is fiction. Within the words are motives, And ambitions and desires. Above the story the teller reveals. Above the story the meaning echoes. We cling to words, We hold to symbols, We fight and divide. But it is a story. All stories are one. It is we who are divided.
